We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant from The Architectural Heritage Fund, part of the wider Culture Recovery efforts funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport.
This fund is designed to support the heritage sector to adapt to the challenges created by Covid-19 by developing sustainable business strategies. Awards of up to £50,000 will enable organisations to redevelop paths to financial sustainability through diversified income models, new community consultation strategies and the engagement of specialist advice and services.
Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust is one of 44 heritage organisations to receive the funding, which will be invested into developing our holiday let portfolio and international operations.
"The Covid-19 crisis has brought unparalleled uncertainty to the heritage sector, with organisations that rely on visitor income or community group usage shuttered for most of the past year. However, these grants will support organisations in becoming more resilient as they emerge from the crisis." Matthew Mckeague, CEO of the Architectural Heritage Fund
We are proud to continue to be here for the heritage of Great Yarmouth and #HereForCulture.
