Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust has been developing a scheme to enhance the historic townscape, create housing and provide training opportunities. A project adjacent to King Street Car Park will develop small plots of land, two of which are already in the ownership of the Trust, into quality affordable housing.

 

The development uses a contemporary architectural language but at the same time relates to historic influences such as net sheds and smoke houses. The designs reflect the scale and mass of the surrounding buildings and will provide affordable, sustainable accommodation that looks to the future while honouring the past.
